Rabbi Nataf's new lecture series
(10/11/2007)

Rabbi Nataf will be giving a special series of lectures on "Explorations in Text and Meaning: More Relevance in Bereshit and Shemot" every Wednesday at 8.00pm commencing October 17. The class is open to the public and will take place at the OU Israel Center, 22 Keren Hayesod Jerusalem.

Modeled after his highly acclaimed book, "Redeeming Relevance in the Book of Genesis," Rabbi Francis Nataf will lead participants through a careful yet creative analysis of key sections of Bereshit and Shemot. By using both classic and contemporary methodology, the class will aim to bring out the texts' contemporary applications while giving over a sense of the style and limits of legitimate interpretation.
